Attendance & Cancellations

At Blossom & Thrive, your child’s success, and the sustainability of our services, depends on consistent attendance and open communication. Each session is carefully scheduled and held just for your child. When sessions are missed or canceled without notice, it impacts not only your child’s progress but also our ability to serve other families and maintain a sustainable practice.

Please review our policies:
    •    24-Hour Cancellation Notice is Required
If you need to cancel an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time to another child on our waitlist.
    •    Late Cancellations Will Incur a Fee
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a $50 cancellation fee. While we understand that emergencies may arise, frequent late cancellations will not be waived.
    •    No-Show Policy
Missing a session without any prior communication will be considered a no-show and will result in a $50 fee.
After two no-shows, we will review your child’s care plan and may discontinue services to offer the time to another family.
    •    Late Arrivals Will Result in a Shortened Session
We operate on a full schedule, often with sessions booked back-to-back. If you arrive late but have communicated with us, your child will still be seen; however, the session will end at the originally scheduled time to avoid affecting other appointments.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late without communication will be considered a no-show, and a $50 fee will apply.
    •    Frequent Cancellations Impact Progress
Even with proper notice, regular cancellations disrupt your child’s momentum and progress. If attendance becomes inconsistent, we may request a meeting to re-evaluate your child’s therapy plan and scheduling.
    •    Why This Matters
Blossom & Thrive is a small, mission-driven practice. Every missed or late session affects not only your child’s outcomes but also our ability to provide services to other families. We deeply appreciate your partnership in making therapy a consistent and productive part of your child’s journey.

Thank you for your understanding, accountability, and commitment to helping your child blossom and thrive.
