Blossom & Thrive Therapy Co.
Insurance & Payment
At Blossom & Thrive, we are committed to providing high-quality care while maintaining transparency around the cost of services. We understand that navigating insurance and payment responsibilities can be overwhelming, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Please review the following guidelines regarding insurance billing, private pay services, and financial responsibility.
Insurance Billing
• We are in-network with several major insurance plans and will bill your insurance company directly for covered occupational therapy services.
• Verification of benefits does not guarantee payment. Families are responsible for understanding their individual plan details, including co-pays, deductibles, and covered services.
• Any portion of the session not covered by insurance—including co-pays, coinsurance, deductibles, or denied claims—will be billed to the family.
• If your insurance plan requires prior authorization or periodic re-evaluation for continued services, we will notify you. Delays in obtaining updated referrals or paperwork may result in appointment holds or out-of-pocket charges.
Private Pay & Playroom Services
• Services not covered by insurance—such as playroom admission, private events, open play, or select classes—are considered private pay and must be paid at the time of service.
• We accept payment via credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA. Cash and checks may be accepted upon request.
Payment Policy
• Invoices for private pay services or uncovered insurance balances will be sent via email and/or available through your client portal.
• Payment is due upon receipt. If you need to set up a payment plan, please contact our office before the due date.
• A late fee may be applied to unpaid balances after 14 days unless a payment arrangement has been made.
Outstanding Balances
• Failure to resolve outstanding balances may result in temporary suspension of services until the account is brought current.
• If balances remain unpaid after multiple reminders, we reserve the right to discharge the client from services.
Financial Hardship
We are committed to making care accessible to all families. If you are experiencing financial hardship, please reach out—we may be able to offer a sliding scale fee or connect you with community resources.
